Ganesh Chaturthi is a vibrant Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom and prosperity. The festival begins with the installation of beautifully crafted Ganesha idols in homes and public pandals, where devotees offer prayers, sing bhajans, and perform aarti. On the final day, the idol is immersed in water during Ganesh Visarjan, symbolizing Ganesha’s return to his heavenly abode and reminding devotees of the cycle of creation and dissolution.
